Our First: Your App Status Is Waiting for Review
And so it’s done. Well, not like the work’s over, or that there’s nothing much left for us to do – but the first stage is completed. Daily Write is now sent to the App Store for review. That slight tingle of accomplishment and relief, it feels good. It’s been months of hard work. Months of answering to people on what you’re trying to do with your life, and what you’re trying to achieve.
Daily Write Is Now Ready for Sale
We were at the same coffee shop where Sojourner and I had decided to finally bring Appathetic to life. It was then, in midst of conversation, that we received an email – an email that bought upon our faces a much needed smile. ‘The status for your app, Daily Write, is now Ready for Sale‘ said the subject, and what joy a mail can sometimes bring. This especially after an email much earlier in the day, that felt like a jab in the stomach – briefly knocking the wind out of you.
Its Definitely a Blip!
We started our morning as usual. Work out followed by cold showers. We were high on the fact that today was going to be the day we would submit Daily Write to the App Store for due review. But we kind of forgot the whole nothing goes as planned theory. Which if I May, has been proven by us today. I am writing this post from my phone. I have two machines.
11 Valuable Things We Learned While Making Our First Ios App
It’s been around four months since we started working on the Writing Prompt iOS app. At first the thought was that we would be able to release it sooner, but it seems that was a mistake. We had to learn, create, change, and eventually redo a lot in the process of creating this app. Today, we’re finally at a stage where we know it’s only a matter of days until we release it.
Writing Prompt - App Teaser
It’s been a while since we last posted an update on what’s happening with the writing prompt app. We’ve been busy designing, developing, and molding the app into a fitting smartphone shape. As it stands, the app is about 70% ready and showing good signs. What is exciting for us is that we now have something tangible! The thought we started from, the idea of writing prompts and building the largest database of writing prompts online, is now one more step closer to reality.
